To create a new asset, press the Add an Asset button located on the top-left of the Asset Maintenance form.

An Add an Asset dialog is displayed. Click the Asset Type dropdown and select the asset type you want to create.

Click Select to Add. This button is enabled once an asset type is selected.

The Create Asset attributes form is displayed for the selected asset:
